A. Legal and Ethical Form
Legal & Ethical issues

In terms of photo shoot, this might be in terms of misrepresentation, copyright, royalties
LEGAL
In terms of legal issues, these tends to be about who owns the rights to something, or whether you are slandering (saying something about someone that is not true), or sometimes it can be a legal issue of making sure your content is not breaking the law (as in there is no suffering to animals depicted)
ETHICAL
Ethics are more of a minefield and there are certain ethical considerations that we have in the west that are important to understand. Ethics is about what society views as right.
Such as – is there a balance between male/female genders
If there are,  are these stereotypical roles (eg powerful  and strong male, weak female often dressed provocatively)
Is there swearing, are there weapons?

Southpark is controversial because a lot of people disapprove of its ethics. However, the producers might argue that it is for a small cult audience who are adult enough to know what is right and what is wrong.

What are the legal and ethical issues of your production and can you justify them?

Safety and Welfare of Contributors

6.4.31
We should not ask contributors to expose themselves to significant health and safety risks while taking part in our output unless we have completed a BBC risk assessment form and conducted rigorous fitness and psychological checks as appropriate.

Before recording, I completed a risk assessment and recce report to ensure the room is safe and all contributors stay safe.

Right of Reply

6.4.25
When our output makes allegations of wrongdoing, iniquity or incompetence or lays out a strong and damaging critique of an individual or institution the presumption is that those criticised should be given a "right of reply", that is, given a fair opportunity to respond to the allegations.

I have given the opportunity for the creators (Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon) to respond to the comments been said in my podcast.

Safeguarding the Welfare of Under-18s

9.4.1
We should apply the principles of the BBC Child Protection Policy in our dealings with children and young people under 18.  Their welfare is our paramount consideration.  This means their interests and safety must take priority over any editorial requirement.

I have made sure that there isn’t bad language used in the podcast to ensure that the safeguarding rules are followed as the language in Rick and Morty is not suitable.

Intimidation and Humiliation

5.4.32
BBC content must respect human dignity.  Intimidation, humiliation, intrusion, aggression and derogatory remarks are all aspects of human behaviour that may be discussed or included in BBC output.  Some content can be cruel but unduly intimidatory, humiliating, intrusive, aggressive or derogatory remarks aimed at real people (as opposed to fictional characters or historic figures) must not be celebrated for the purposes of entertainment.  Care should be taken that such comments and the tone in which they are delivered are proportionate to their target.
I did follow the intimidation and humiliation but there is a remark which could be seen as humiliating depending on the views of the audience and the victim of the comment.

Personal View Content

4.4.29
The BBC has a tradition of allowing a wide range of individuals, groups or organisations to offer a personal view or opinion, express a belief, or advance a contentious argument in its output.  This can range from the outright expression of highly partial views by a campaigner, to the opinion of a specialist or professional including an academic or scientist, to views expressed through contributions from our audiences.  All of these can add to the public understanding and debate, especially when they allow our audience to hear fresh and original perspectives on familiar issues.
The views showed on my podcast about Rick and Morty are positive towards the show so the audience may become mislead from hearing only positive things.
