A. Podcast Review.

Orange is the new Black review review.

The podcast starts with the presenter (Anna) introducing herself and the podcast. She introduces the podcast by stating the podcast name, annaartiga.com, with the subject of the podcast following, Orange is the new Black review. Then, Anna begins to briefly describe the show, telling the audience the storyline of the beginning episodes of the series. Shortly after, Anna voices her opinion of the show (4.5/5 stars) with her later showing she is a 'back to back, season and episode addict' and that she 'loves this show' and 'is having withdrawals while waiting for the next season'.  Anna warns the audience that there is explicit content in the show and that it is adult only, this suggests that the target audience for the podcast is 18+.  The target audience is also aimed towards Netflix users as the show, Orange is the new Black is a Netflix show.  The podcast comes to an end with Anna introducing the next weeks episode and signing off.

The podcast is formal but casual, it has structure and has been scripted and rehearsed previously to the recording. It has an Introduction, main body and an ending, with a presenter, podcast name and a clear subject of the podcast which the presenter doesn't stray away from. Along with the formal tone the podcast is relatively slow paced, allowing the audience to take in the information given without struggle.   There is one presenter on the podcast, and no guests. The presenters style is talking throughout the whole podcast as there is no sound effects or music added and nobody else speaking in the podcast. Towards the end there is a little time for questions, but it is Anna asking for the audience to voice their opinions about Orange is the new Black, so no time for the audience's questions to be answered in the podcast.

As music fades cue to presenter (Ollie Charlesworth, (OC) “Hi it’s Ollie here and welcome to my podcast, today we will be discussing the popular Netflix and Adultswim show, Rick and Morty.  You’ve now just heard the theme song to the show, how did you find it?”

OC – ‘’Since being created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon back in December 2013 the show has been ever growing and becoming more and more popular. We are going to discuss the show with a selection of fans today, starting with Isaac Sunderland.’’
